My tank is 60" long 20" wide 30" tall. Using 3" wide glass X 60" long for bracing, can the glass be glued to the top of the tank or should it be installed on the side inside the tank???.......Also how far down should the overflow hole/holes be drilled, and what size??? What is the benefit of having 2 overflow's to the sump. would the 2 overflow drains connect into 1 larger pipe before entering the sump???. How far down should the overflow box be from the top of the tank in relation to the return???

The bracing is typically installed inside the take flush with the top of glass. The holes must at a minimum be at least one full hole diameter from the top and the sides. Size is personal preference. I would probably shoot for 1 1/4" bulkheads which means your holes would need to be more like 1 /34".
