Any thoughts on these lights? Does anyone have them on their tank? It has heaps of features. Deently priced. Their website is down due to a server move apparently.

I'm considering an "upgrade" from the lone Kessil A160 I currently have.

I actually love these lights. I'm planning to run them on my next tank. They definitely offer a lot of bang for the buck. I've seen the Chinese black box LEDs that so many rave about and these costs marginally more. The big difference is Gavita, who is the leading horticulture company in Europe, has invested a lot of time and money in the Euroquatics brand. They are a brand that I trust. It looks great, has all the features, and is an all around solid product.

Sweet! I knew about Gavita. But finding information, reviews, and such on these lights have been tough. I greatly appreciate the input and will more than like buy these lights. Which version do you have?

Euroquatics is a member of the forum here. Hopefully a sponsor some day so we can talk more direct to them in their own section. gCarroll were you able to purchase some yet?

just didn't know if was looking up the correct thing because ya'll were talking about "deently priced" and "marginally more" than a Chinese black box. Id never heard of them so wanted to make sure i was looking at the right thing. Was expecting a much different price, thats all. Ill have to read up on them!

Sorry, I'm talking about the black box LEDs being marketed by a few unnamed sponsors here and other various forums. Those are $selling for $319 - $339 and are around 100w - 120w. Yes there are others cheaper if ordered from companies out of the country but I don't even consider or frankly even want to recognize them. I was witness to watching a black box LED go up in flames and smoke at a large online vendor's facility. All I could think was, "Wow, I'm sure glad this happened here with us around and not in a hobbyist home where it would have come on by a timer/controller and burned the house down.
