Anyone have any experience with the euroquatics led light? Looks like a good deal on them right now but I’ve never heard of them and really can’t find much about em. Marine depot has them

Hope I put that link in right. I don’t have much experience posting
I'm almost wondering if the light is discontinued or going out of business as marine depot has a "Euroquatics products are all final sale and cannot be returned" Usually companies put an all sales final on products that they are either not carrying anymore or the company is no longer around. But I have never heard of them.

Thanks for the reply. That’s pretty much the conclusion I came to. Not sure I would care to get a light that may be impossible to have warrantied. Sure looks like a nice light and it would fit my 30” bowfront wonderfully. Guess I’ll look at other options. If it looks too good to be true it probably is.

BUMP

anyone have these lights? seems a lot of people have t5s from this company, but i couldn't find much on the LEDs. i just bought one for $125, which seems like a pretty sweet deal. sounds like the company is going out of business, so there won't be any fixing or warranty, but for the price that seems acceptable risk.

i got it and plugged it in to see how the wifi works on it, it's kinda clunky but seems to work. i cranked it up to 100% intensity and could barely look at it facing up on my table so it seems pretty strong lol

now looking at this thread again, seems 2 years ago they were going out of business, so kinda funny that they're still selling lights. i guess they had big plans, sadly.

other than a few random posts back in ~2015 when the light was kinda coming out, doesn't seem like anyone on several different reefing sites bought them

i was just buying it so when i upgrade i can use my ai primes on the new tank and then use this one on my current tank which i'll use as my lower flow lower light lps/softies/nem type tank so it doesn't need to do a ton of work. or maybe i'll just use this thing on my bigger tank, but i did come across a post somewhere that someone was worried about the lights lack of violent color spectrum so.. shrug. i'm no light expert, but spectrum seems normal looking

i mean it's like 150 watts for $125, i guess if it breaks 3 months in that's a bad deal, but it looks pretty decently well made.

on the downside i think it's gonna be a hot minute before i set it up on a tank.. unless i want to get crazy illuminating my qt observation tank lol
