Euryhaline fish in reef aquaria

Has anyone on here tried adapting any euryhaline fish species to reef conditions other than the traditional mollys and guppies? I recently found out alot of cichlid species are euryhaline and im wondering if anyone has had cichlids (or other euryhaline species) in their reef. If so how long did you drip acclimate them for?

Drip acclimation typically won't work for moving fish from FW to SW - the process should be done with the fish in a functioning tank, and bring the salinity up gradually over 5 to 7 days. There are exceptions - I once saw a Mozambique tilapia moved from a FW to a SW tank with no acclimation, and it survived.

Some domestic species no longer seem to have the ability to adapt to full strength seawater, some mollies and guppies in particular don't always make it, even when moving them slowly.

So far I have been succesful with red clawed crabs, mummichog, and sticklebacks. Like jay said ive lost alot of domesticated fish guppies seem very difficult. Im waiting for another spawn from my peacock cichlids so I can attempt them thats my ultimate goal is cichlids living in my reef.
