EVC 250w DE Halide Bulbs

I been starting to hear some good things about these bulbs. I tend to prefer a tank on the bluer side. So I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on these bulbs. Either the 14K or the 20K. Will be running on a dual sunlight supply HQI Ballast. Any pictures would be awesome as Well!

i think for DE.........ive heard XM 20ks are really nice.....

I am running the 15K XM's right now. Although they are nice I would prefer a little more blue to them than what they have.

This is after putting in the 250de evc 20k, IT turns a little more blue after burning in. overall nice bulb. I like a little more crisp white. I should of gotten the 14k . I went back to my phoenix.

im using the evc 20k on my tank.really like them i have aqua medic fixture hqi ballast they seem more of a crisp white with amost a cranberry look.the corals have good colors was using phoenix14k i think i'll stick with the evc for awhile..

Thanks for all the replies. I may have to think about trying out the EVC bulbs! I have been hearing some good things about the 14K Phoenix as well! If your reading this Mike Christmas can't get hear soon enough I'll have to borrow your bulb for a day or so!

anyone else has experience with the EVC 250w 20k DE bulb? i'm seeing what radium 20k's are doing for people and this bulb seems to be the closest as far as DE goes.
