Even out the sand bed?

I have a tomato clown that loves to use her fins to make a tornado with the sand! Fun to watch but she turns my sand bed into a lumpy uneven mess! My question is. Is it ok to go back and even it out or will that disturb bacteria in the sand?

It will disturb it but that’s a good thing. It will mix around detritus. However you don’t want to do it to the entire tank as that will release ammonia and other gases which in excess can harm your fish and corals. Got any pics of the cutie?

I had a pair of clowns before who did the very same thing, I used to even the sand all the time, I got tired but they didn’t lol, so I just left it, now my fairy wrasse does the same thing.
