I really need some fish in both my tanks. However I'm so picky can't find a fish I want that looks OK I do need an algae eater like a lawn mower blenny. my last preferred eating the meaty foods I fed the other fish !

Sounds like the kind of luck I'd have with them.

Every blenny I've had has died in very unfortunate circumstances....my first lawnmower died when my cat removed the lid and scooped him. Second was a bicolor that ate my corals and decided he liked my filter sock. Third was a Midas that was too aggressive to the wrong people and got stabbed by my Foxface.

I am saving the last spot in my new 20l build for a red dragonette. I wanted to have another mandarin like I did years ago in my 12 gallon hex, but have been reading here on r2r that it's not a good idea to have one in a tank smaller than 50 gallons. That being said, mine thrived for 3 years in my nano tank from 99 to 02 until I broke the tank down and gave him and my other livestock back to the LFS.

Other. My wife wants a dragonet, and I admit it’s a beautiful critter. But the bigger reason I’m excited about getting it is because I want to start start culturing copepods and phytoplankton. A hobby within the hobby, making life for the sole purpose of sustaining other life, being Master and Commander of my own food chain, as it were.

There's always something in the hopper.

Adding 3 damsels this weekend for additional color and movement. Probably going to add another tri in a couple months.

Have a swalesi basslet in TTM right now... will add him in about a month. Love the look. Will add some more color and intrigue as I don't anticipate it'll be out all the time.

Want to add a mandarin. 300gal with loads of pods can certainly handle 1-2 dragonets... but I'm really nervous about taking it through QT (and TTM??).

My 65g tank currently has 6 piscine inhabitants and I am aiming for 2 more. I have enough CUC so I want interesting reef safe fish. I am looking towards a couple more Wrasses. I would love a McCosker but they don’t seem to be available to me in Australia, so I plan to play a patient game and check what my 3 LFSs can get.

My concern is adding more fish to an established tank. The others are 12+ months in and all added fairly quickly as juveniles. Now they are older and established I need to be careful about introducing new ‘friends’ particular in a smaller tank like mine.
