Ever saw this? Something on my zoas

I noticed a white glob on these zoas while they were closed up, anyone know what it is?

Looks like some type of egg cluster. Not sure from what though

That is sponge and harmless unless it over takes the zoanthid

Im going with sponge also. It could be easily removed.

Pop it off and throw it in ur fug if u have one. They are great filter feeders when ever I find sponge I toss it in my fug.

Most sponges will die quickly when exposed to air.Take the colony out and sit it on the counter for 20 minutes,don't worry the zoas wont blink an eye.:smile:

Great to know, I am working on adding a refug to my system, so I will let the sponge on there a little while longer until its finished
