Ever see a fish this fat?

He'd kill me if he knew i was posting this. But I have to, before he literally explodes. It doesnt help that he also has some sort of growth on his side. Still that aside ive never seen a fish get this fat.

Before anyone thinks I overfeed I dont. All other fish are fine. He gets like this bc hes learned how to kick up my DSB and munch on pods and worms.

Id say that looks like a healthy fish but it doesnt, but yeah clearly you dont over feed and theres smth special about this one

It doesn’t look normal to me, like it’s pregnant or constipated lol. Has it been like that a long time? Have you seen it poop at all?

Lol, I have the same type of damsel and he does the same kicking up the sand bed looking for food. Mine has never gotten that far though.

Possibility of dropsy or inability to digest food it has taken in especially when it comes to pelleted food

Hey all good comments. Hes been like this for over a year. He does have a lump on one side of his stomach. Hard to say really if its a disease or not. Havent seen him poop but otherwise seems healthy. Hes also over 6 years old.

Parasite? Def not an "aesthetic" fish, but boy oh boy does that blue color shine!

Seems like a vibrio infection (dropsy) or she is full of eggs.
