Ever seen live rock like this?

Most of the live rock that I have seen in tanks is either just rock or covered in pink or purple coralline algae. Have any of you seen live rock come out of a tank looking like this? It reminds me of uncured rock when you first get it.

Check out http://gulf-view.com/. There is a LFS in NC that carries it and it has all sorts of stuff growing on it.
Yeah, that's fresh uncured rock. I haven't seen rock stay like that long. The piece in my picture has been in my tank for almost 3 years.
 
This is tukani. ... the only issue that I have with it is nutrients being too low.
 
The coral on mine is a base of an acro colony I removed. I figured I would take a picture of it while it was out of the tank
 
I bought 150 lbs. of it two years ago. not much coral and I took out a bunch of halimeda, but I have yet to find one bad critter. overall, for the price, I'm happy. I will say it's not as porous as some of the dry rock being sold.
