Just wondering if anyone has ever seen these before? They are some what close to Kryptonites but MUCH better. If you have never seen them before then any names would be appreciated. The photo is taken under 20K, not actinics so that gives an idea of how bright in color these are.

I have Kryptonite also and the Kryptonites are much smaller, not nearly as bright, the skirts are much thinner and the skirts dont have any green on them. Below are the Kryptonites that I have and they are taken under the same light. The ones I dont know a name for are closer to the size of a Paly.

[FONT=&quot]Hi Gary. I thought I had something similar, but no. My wife likes the name "Plzens," for the town Plzen in the Czech Rebpublic where Pilsner Urquell is made (you know, deep green bottles). BTW, my son named ours "Aliens," for the little green men on Toy Story I and II:

For color comparison (10K only) and size, Green Dragon Eyes are to the left and StarGazer Palythoas are to the right.

Good luck. Yours are truly beautiful. Steve

Hey Steve - Thats about the size of them, pretty larger. Not sure how to explain it but they look like they would be fast growers, they seem to grow close together. Are you getting goor growth under the 10K's? Are those Purple Hornets on the bottom? They even have great color under 10K! Cool names, I just can pronounce them except for Alien of course.

GMaquarium> Are the skirts green, another color, or a mix? How big are they--typical zoa or paly size? The centers look like Gary's, but it's hard to tell size and skirt color. Thanks. Steve

Both greens are pretty large. Haven't had these guys long enough to know growth rate, but you're probably right. The difference seems to be the centers. Remember the Green Hornet show? But with Purple Hornets out there (a great name BTW, and indeed, those are PH from you!), Green Hornet might not fit the hornet image.

We eat at McD's way too much and watch way too many DVDs. My son has this Happy Meal character from the Bee Movie. Forget my first name suggestion--dumb, I can't spell it without the bottle. But with the dark mouths, how about Green Bees?

Or Giant Green Bees! There must be a ton of good names out there. Just havin fun.

Or Pollen Jocks? Green Pollen Jocks (you gotta see the movie)? I better stop and have another Pilsner.

Most of the skirts are brownish, and only some have green in it (gonna check again with my glasses on) The polyps are on the smaller size
