I am sooo glad that I bought these lights! I've only had them running at 75% whites and 100% blues for the last 2 weeks. This is the maximum intensity that I plan on running them. I've had the lights since April but have been cautiously ramping them up since then. They are over a 108 gallon 5 foot hagen tank. Here's some pictures :)
Growth has been amazing!!!!!

I forgot to post the picture of how we mounted them. This way there is very little chance of salt spray (that is what killed my last lights)

This also shows my deltec mce600 at work.

Hi, I have one of these units and am still experimenting because with some corals I am getting great polyp extension and others, like my mushrooms, just wont expand at all.
I am getting great growth on my Blue tipped ( monti) I think it is, excuse my ignorance im not much into sps yet, but only a little growth on my red plating monti!!!....excellent polyp extension on my hammer but not much on my frogspawn.
There just is no balance I can find.
Do you have any advice so I can keep trying to solve this imbalance.

I think it is a great light unit, very very happy, so happy that I am thinking of upgrading to a IT2060 Programmable version or if I can find out where to get one, maybe a Lumini Glisten 150R2.
Anyway,, thank you,
John,
A newbie

The only advice I can give is make small changes slowly. I've heard people saying that they wouldn't run the whites any higher than 50% but I have mine at 75 with no apparent problems. My merulina was the coral of mine that took the longest to adjust. It started to bleach ever so slightly so I backed of the intensity for a week then ramped it back up and all seems well. Good luck :)

It's been a long time since I updated this thread so here's a recent picture of the same tank with same lighting and a few new inhabitants. Only change I made to settings is full strength (100%) on both channels.

Only thing I can see is that timer . Get rid of it asap get a better one . I don't trust those timers at all due to fires

Nevermind. I thought yours had the ability but it doesn't. On some of the evergrows you will see a second set of plugs so you can plug the lights into each other. yours cant do that.

get the ones from aquacave or marine depot that have 2 plugs from hamilton and then connect them to a good power strip made of metal or an outdoor rated one

Thinned out some of my soft coral and large clam to make more swimming room for fish and also give me an excuse to get some new coral lol. Here's the tank now.

I'm alot happier with it. It was just getting way to crowded ( did I say that lol)
