I have a mixed reef tank. All corals including acros are doing extremely well. Hammers, stylos, digitatas doing fantastic. However torches are behaving strange. They suddenly begin to die and loose polyp extention.
Parameters are:
Kh: 8.4
Cal: 410
Mag:1300
Potassium: 395
No3:5- 10
Po4: 0.04
Salinity 34ppm

Did par meter 130par during a 4 hour PEAK. FLOW moderate.

What could be the issue?

How often do you feed your fish? I feed my fish real frozen food and that might be a reason why mine do well. What do you feed? My torches LOVE flow. They just love to be whipped around, so how is your flow?

Here is a new one for everyone. I purchased a torch that come from a tank with known flat worms. I dipped my torch in TAP water. Yes, not RODI just plan TAP chlorine and all for about a min. Tons of flatworms came flying lose and the torch is doing GREAT! It was a test but it worked. So in my mind these guys can be very hardy.
