Hello I’m sorry to say that all my fish and a crab in my nano 20 gallon died. From what I’ve seen the basic parameters are all in check I just got done moving rooms and I think it could be that it’s like a 15ft distance to move so I don’t think it’s that major I put the fish in a separate container and drain the water level then moved it I also did a 5 gallon water change with some nitrate and phosphate remover from Red Sea and I followed the dosing instructions from what I saw everything was fine so I got it all set up then added the fish and when to bed but when I woke up this morning I checked the tank and all my fish were dead two one the top of the sand bed on on the rock I’m wondering if they all died at the same time but my snails appear to be fine so what could have done this I really need help right now and please tell what I should do next. Thank you for your time

What nitrate and phosphate remover did you use?

I am sooo sorry to hear about your loss. These are very hard lessons. This has happened to me three times. On each occasion, it was a result of my endless tinkering with my tank. On one occasion, I used a container of make up water that I had forgot I had recently bleached. On another occasion, I forgot to turn on my skimmer. All the fish perished from oxygen depleted water. On the last occasion, I over stocked my tank. From these expieriences I learned a few things. Tinker less and think more. Never rush. Perfect is the enemy of good.
