I'm with you on this. In time it will fail. It just peels off of acrylic....

Possibly. that is the best silicone to use, it the issue is with acrylics 's oily properties. are those pieces only held together with silicone?

I dont think it fail off the glass , because its not the first time i hold acrylic to glass i do it before and still till now strong , it depends on what type of silicone you are using

My sump its 25 g , first chamber for skimmer , second refugium , and the last for pump
