I use this schedule as well on my Cube 20. I recommend turning the overall intensity down for your nano. Use two fingers to slide the entire schedule down to your desired intensity

What kind of lid did you put on your evo 13.5?

I am kind of concerned moving away from the stock light due to potential algae issues.

Over three months now and knock on wood, with heavy feeding only one tiny piece of algae on my frag rack. I have not cleaned the glass once.

I have the 3Dreefing diffuser. So I have the intensity 100%. Wondering if I should turn it down? The bottom of the diffuser is about 8.25 in. from water line. Here is a pic.

I am kind of too cheap to buy that given what they are.

Sadly, I would rather end up stubborn and waste 3 hours (and of course way more than that cost..) cutting up arcylic, buying new glue to bind / melt it, and then use plastic chicken / bird wire and find a way to attach it.

In terms of the intensity, it may be easier with the room lights off and a full tank shot.

Same here this is what I did and got out of it.
