Hey everybody, just starting a simple EVO for a bedroom tank and to explore issues with my main JBJ 45.
This tank will focus on softies and LPS and peaceful gobies.
Equipment List:
Fluval EVO 13.5
Cobalt 25 watt heater
Kessil 160we
Hydor Coralia 240
Spin Stream on the return pump
Smart Micro ATO
Apex Jr.

Started this last week

The pipe is for an eventual jawfish condo.

My eventual stock list:
Rainford Goby
Firefish
Purple Firefish
Neon Goby
Yellowhead Jawfish
Possum Wrasse

Current Stock:
Rainford Goby
Firefish
Fire Shrimp

I have one of these I'm setting up soon as well. I'll follow along!

My plan is a bit different but same sort of idea on coral. I want to see what I can do with this thing absolutely stock.

Nice start:) I had an 8 gal. Nano about this time last year as I was cycling my 30 gal. Jbj. Looking forward to seeing this tank stocked. :D

Nice sand choice. What were the issues with the 45 if you do not mind me asking.

Thanks, I had the kessil or I might have been tempted to keep it stock.

I am about to start a build thread, it's been up about 10 months. I am having trouble keeping sps alive, certain lps as well. Nothing dies fast just fades.

I like the aio sump with it. I swapped the included biomedia with 4 marine pure balls and dropped a handful below the sponge.

I put a Mame protein skimmer on mine and I swap out the carbon and put chemi pure elite and chemi pure blue! My tank is extremely clear and clean!

Current FTS:

Firefish finally out with fire shrimp :

looks great so far, hopefully all the inhabitants do better here

Following. I have this tank setup also, I love it. I have had really good success with doing 5 gallon water changes weekly.
