evo led

I was just scoping his LED's on his site the other night. I think Chris is a stand up guy, from what Ive heard and seen online. And at these prices, it's hard to say no.

I am about to get 2 evo slim strips for a 10 gallon Nano I just set up. I'm going with a 50 50 and 1 all blue. I'll try and repost here when I get them.

would have to see them but the 1W versions are found wanting IMO...so much for me personally that I wouldn't take them for free. I've seen them on a bunch of tanks and just don't like them....they're dim and dull. using 2W LEDs has to be an improvement but they are still cheap chinese LEDs....With all that said they do work obviously.

I have the 120 w version and it makes corals pop alot more than my t5/mh lighting....the only thing is you cant take pics of your tank with just the blues on :(

well the fact they are dimmable now and 2watts per bulb make these something I would like to consider. the price is so cheap I dont think you could build them for less.

I've got 2 of the original Evo's in 150w. Each over separate 40breeders. Excellent color and coral growth, from chalice to SPS. Best bang for your buck out there!

I have 4 of the 120s. 3 over my 30" deep 300 and one over my frag tank. I did add an ecoxotic strip to help punch through the eurobrace and give me a lil more par up high for my SPS. I have acans and chalices on the sandbed and they grow like craze and are beautiful. My SPS are growing fast and have incredible colors!!! I am running 90 par at 30".
