Hello All, just cycled and set up my first Evo V with a few soft corals. They don’t look good in this pic but they have been getting better. Tank is 30 days old. I have a cobalt neo therm 25W heater and intank media basket. I’m curious if anyone recommends putting the heater in chamber 1 with the pump? Seems like there is not much water movement in that chamber but would that be fine if it keeps temperature? It’s a tight fit but can fit without the suction cups. Also just purchased a Hydor water deflector to improve circulation, everything else is stock. You think this will be ok for some soft corals, inverts and a neon goby? I plan to run the lights 10 hours a day mostly white with blue lights in morning and evening for an hour. Anything else I should consider to keep this running? I’m doing weekly water changes and testing too. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Yea chamber 1 with the pump is your best bet, thats where I put mine in my 13.5 evo.

Cool thanks, I’ll do that on my next water change.
