evolved's 190g DSA Reef: Wrasse Retreat

Hehe!

Wow! Great build thread and story to go with it Hunter, glad you stuck with it and was willing to share with all of us your ups-n-downs. Hopefully encourage others to do the same in following your lead.

Cheers, Todd

Thank you kindly sir. :)

love the tank it looks great. How loud are your mp10S?
Thanks.
I'm sorry, I have no idea. It's impossible to hear them over the mp40s and the skimmer...

Do you have a fish list?
Currently:

C. cf. lanceolatus
C. earlei
C. johnsoni (x3)
C. lineatus
C. lunatus
C. nahackyi (x2)
P. attenuatus
P. bellae
H. timorensis (x2, m/f)
Ctenochaetus tominiensis
Amphiprion ocellaris (x2, m/f)

Alright, it took me a little longer than I wanted to get some shots, but I got a few this week. I'm probably due for a status update with words as well, but that will have to come later.

I'm starting to learn this camera-thing I've had for a while now; thought I'd share these photo's here.

Gear: Nikon D7000, Nikon 85mm macro lens, Avast porthole

And here's a few outside the tank; Nikon 18-200mm lens for these.

Looking good Hunter, we need more fish pics though!

"the Tomini's corner of relief"... You mean your Tomini does his business in the same spot all the time? So does mine, left front of the tank.

Awesome tank BTW! I had a Solorensis for 3 days.... I'm not sure why he died. :-( Maybe my Tomini, Chromis, and Clowns stressed him to death?

Great thread Hunter...I wish I was able to view all the pictures here at work, but the only ones I can see are the ones shot by EZ...

Looking forward to having you out to CT in May!!!

Make sure you bring lots of high resolution photos, my club loves pictures!!!

Precisely, which is quite common behavior for a tang.

Possibly, but it's more likely it was flukes or a bad acclimation.

Ah, Photobucket must be blocked for you. Zibba's are on Flickr, and so are the latter ones of mine on this page.

I'm looking quite forward to it as well, and there will certainly be pictures!
