Exact iDip Digital Water Testing

Yes I would like if the no3 test can read lower than 3. 0-100 would be perfect.

Also for current owners of the idip can we call in and get the new thu test?

And one last thing do you know when the cyanuric acid test will be available? I use my idip to test my pool and that's the only test missing which is listed as coming soon.
Gus the cyanuric acid is available now and this is the link to it on our website. I also emailed you with information on your package with THU strips and reagent. http://www.sensafe.com/exact-photom...act-reagents-micro-cyanuric-acid-ii-60-tests/

Hello all!!! An update on the ranges for NO3 and PO4. NO3 range is 3-100ppm. PO4 range is .02-2.5ppm. I apologize for the incorrect range on PO4 that I gave and this is the absolute correct range that will posted on the website soon. With that being said I understand the need for ultra low No3 test with a range less than 3ppm and that will be forwarded. Is the phosphate range acceptable at 0.02-2.5ppm? I understand everyone's frustrations and we are trying our very best to fix all the issues, bugs, and problems. Thank you all for being patient and we hope to have everything corrected as soon as possible. I will be very active on this forum to answer and address any issues or problems you may have.

IMO .02 -2.5 ppm is indeed acceptable. Provided reasonable accuracy is inherent across that range.

If anyone is going to be at Reef-A-Palooza this weekend in Orlando, Fl. ITS will have a booth. I Noah will be present at the booth for anyone who wants to come by for questions, comments, or concerns.

K so the CYA test is not available for the 570?

These are the tests I can buy in store. No CYA in there.

The test does show up in the regular idip section but I thought I had to buy specific 570 tests?

Also for the new THU test do I select the Total UH or Total UH-II?

good question Gus. I was wondering the same thing (Total UH vs. Total UH-II). What is the difference between the two? Do you still need the drops and how many for II?

I see what you are saying about CYA and I will ask our tech guy first thing in the morning why it is not available on the app.

This should answer your question about THU.

Tot UH Marine ( 2900 - 5500 ppm (as CaCO3)): uses 3.8 mL of sample and 9 drops of THU reagent + THU strip

· Tot UH-II Marine (5400 - 8000 ppm (as CaCO3)): uses 3.6 mL of sample and 14 drops of THU reagent + THU strip

Thank you Noah. Your reply to my UH vs. UH II is very helpful. Truly appreciate your presence here.

Truly appreciate your presence here.
+1
@eXact iDip® Thank you so much for taking the time to be with us.

Is the iDip as accurate as the
Hanna Phos checker
Or Salifert nitrate kit

Regards, GoVols

Thank you for your comment GoVols. I don't want to go into too talking down about our competitors. We try to let our products speak for itself at ITS because there is nothing else like it. The number of parameters you can test for on one device versus buying multiple kits or devices truly is amazing. I will provide you with information regarding our photometer when it comes to nitrate and phosphate tests.
Phosphate-Range(0.02-2.5ppm) Accuracy(+or- 4%)
Nitrate-(3-100ppm)(+or-20%)
I hope you find this useful. Also you can refer to the tests and reagents tab on http://www.sensafe.com/exact-idip-570nm/ to see all the iDip is capable of doing.

Wow awesome!! I have gave up on this tester. Now with Noah here maybe I can start using it again :). Thank you so much for being here Noah. And now that you are here I am sure we can all wait patiently and discuss improvements respectively. Your representation of idip is very welcome; it tells me that at least you are trying to improve this tester. It's a light at the end of the tunnel lol

There's a difference between comparing and talking down competitors. I think it's important because many use those tests as benchmarks for us to compare to.

Secondly the device can perform many different tests and that's great but how accurate are they at performing each one?

I can tell you NC our accuracy results are posted on the website that I provided above. Our accuracy is better in some tests compared to our competitors and very close to our competitors in others. I don't know all of our competitors exact accuracy. If you want to know a specific test I will gladly research it for you. I will say that it is all about preference for you as the user. Multiple kits or one that stands alone in its own category. We have just scratched the surface in the marine market and have only produced our meter 2 years ago. We have been producing outstanding meters for 27 years so their is no doubt in my mind that this product the iDip is only going to get better in time. Innovations, new parameters, new ranges, and better accuracy are being worked on extensively daily by our chemists in Research and Development. I hope you can be patient with us as we produce the best product for you the user.

How is everyone's week going with the iDip?

Honestly, I gave up on using it months ago. However, now that you have joined this thread with a great presence, I'm more than willing to bust the kit back out and work through the issues together. So I guess the first thing I need to do is get the new THU reagents. Are you able to handle that for me?

Thanks,

Toby Broadfield
