Sounds interesting, but IMO the only really applicable tests are pH and Alkalinity. Cholorine and Free Cholorine should be taken care of by using RODI water.
The Hanna checker for ALK is only like $50 and pH can be done with either strips or drops for under $10.
A neat gadget for sure, but for my $200, I could find better things to spend my money on..

Ive been using 1 for over 12 mths and love it easy to use quick.

I have just finished cycling my 750 gal and planning on using exact Idip because many parameters can be tested with this 1 unit, did you compare results to any other test kit to see if you can number close if not same?

Hello! Another user shared their data comparing results from their iDips to other testing methods in this comment: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/exact-idip-digital-water-testing.212829/post-5954551

Hope this helps! And, if you have any remaining questions, please feel free to contact us either through this site or by email at [email protected].

I've wanted to try one for a while, but never have pulled the trigger. If you get one, definitely let us know your thoughts

I'm not sure if you attend any tradeshows, but if you do we'll be at Reef-A-Palooza California this year (Booth #813) and MACNA (Booth #912). Stop by if you wanna try it out! We'll also have some special giveaways at the shows that'll we'll post more info about in the coming week.

And, as always, feel free to reach out to us on this site or at [email protected].

I'll be at RAP Cali. I'll drop by.

Ok why i like it, ease of use would be the main one. It has taken a lot of the choir of testing out of the hobby. I read every week, more if i dose adjustments. Whilst im waiting for the nitrate phos to time out i check for iiodate and potassium using a salifert tester. My tank is thriving. I did a triton test about 6mths ago and all readings i test for with idip were roughly the same.

Wow didnt realize how many people had replied to my thread lol

Been hoping one of the Reef youtubers would get a hold of one of these and test it out... Not many reviews on this anywhere

I have this unit and numbers are not good and i have compared this with Hanna, red sea and elos test kits, nitrates are way off and phosphates are not close, alk is some what ok and calcium shows HI at all times. I have it on shelf sitting doing nothing.
