I have noticed a extreme amount of coralline algae.
It’s good to have but is there a way to reduce or slow it a little ?

im currently dosing 12ml 2 part daily but think it’s going to coraline and not to corals .

Some try everything to get coralline , others like me want to get rid of it or slow it down

Scrape it or not ....

Scrape it off the glass if you don't want it. Should be slow growing.

My 2 month old aquarium is just starting to grow Coraline and I'm pretty excited LOL
But I understand your point. If it was me I'd want it on the rocks but I'd remove all of it from the glass, including the back. I don't have enough experience to comment on whether or not the Coraline is 'eating' all your nutrients.

That doesn't look like all that much coralline algea to me. The glass isn't completely covered and the rocks are looking pretty good but still not completely purple. I would scrape it off of any viewing sides of the glass if it were me.

If you are maintaining the appropriate levels CA/ALK/MG then there is enough for all. I personally don't like the look of coralline all over the clean so I scrape all viewing sides and back panel weekly

i agree with just scraping it off before it becomes too much. i've heard urchins love the stuff too.
Rock boring urchins to be specific will eat corraline as soon as it appears. We have 3 in our 125 that is 2 years old, stable, dosing ATI Essentials Pro, growing everything from Zoas to some lower end SPS that we are just starting to try and no corralline to speak of even after trying to seed it into the tank.
