Was on vacation and when I got back I noticed some coralline algae growth! Very exciting. Looks like some pink and purple. How long till it covers my whole aquascape? Want to get an urchin but waiting till some real build up.

Do you monitor any parameters? I'm not necessarily a number chaser myself but coralline will consume alk and calcium so if you want to promote it, make sure it has enough of that (and if you have other stony corals they will also consume those)... so there is definitely ways to make it grow faster... as far as how long? Time will tell :)

It will usually show up on plastic/abs pumps and overflows before it grows on rock and glass, watch to see if it changes form, if it is coraline keeping alk/cal/and magnesium in check along with nutrients in the water, and it won't take long.

Agree with above that not sure it's coraline. As mentioned you will see on pumps and glass also, not just on rocks.

The rocks were transferred over from my 5 month old 75 gallon and just put into my 150Gal tank which has new pumps and ect.

so it has spread quite a bit. I took a covered rock out that wasn’t purple before and I could only get some off with my finger nail scrapping pretty hard. From what I have read if it comes off easy that is the sign of cyno. Correct?

It sounds like it, and my original suspicion. Do you have any white light pictures of the algae?

I have blown all the rocks with a turkey baster and none has come off. Only way is scrubbing it for a bit with a glass cleaning sponge or picking at it with my thumb nail.
