I'm new to the hobby and looking foreward to it. WHen it come to my first aquarium, im thinking 50-100 gallons what is the best way to buy one. have a sump and everytingin installed, or stick the the basicis. I was also wondering if anyone in the nyc area was lookinh to sell an aquarium. i live an hour north but hsve no problem getting therd. thsnks

Welcome to the hobby! The bigger the tank the better, which also means less upgrading in the future for more space. Personally, for a beginning tank, I would buy a setup that has everything you will need. - kali
