Exciting but sad -clownfish eggs

Yesterday my clowns laid eggs! They had been mimicking the behavior for a few weeks but yesterday evening they actually produced something!
But this morning, the rock is empty. I guess they got eaten overnight by tank inhabitants. . They don’t seem to be bothered that the eggs are gone. Is that normal? Guess I need to do some research!
I have a separate tank I could have moved the rock to but I wasn’t really prepared and didn’t think they would be gone overnight.
I thought I’d share the video.
I have 36 gallon bowfront, it’s been up for a little over a year.

They eat unfertilized eggs, infected eggs and when they under stress. As new parents they will do that. Place a flowerpot or tile so that u can remove them from there on time. Be prepare with rotifers and phytoplankton. This is not the last batch,they will lay more in few weeks so be ready. need live rotifers to feed them, without them they'll starve to death

They will produce more and more as they continue their laying cycle. In my experience once they start laying, if things are kept stable and quiet they will continue to do so every couple of weeks.

once you get towards the end of a cycle if they are being fertilized you’ll see all their eyes shining. From there they are usually ready to go.

clay pots, clay tiles, etc have some sort of texture they are attracted to laying on as mentioned above.

I wont even start on the subject of raising them, you’ll want to do some research if you’re interested in that
