Excuse me for asking but.............

So yes I am new and I do read the forum and watch youtube. I am doing ok with my new tank but lights is my question. I have a T5 hybrid. Running 2 Hydra 26 on a 48" tank with the T5 bulbs. I am mainly all LPS except for a purple stylo. I am looking to get growth. I just dont know what to set my hydras at. What is better for growth Blue or white. I really dont know what to set my hydras at. I really watched so many videos and read so many articles and it seems like I am chasing my own tail. I do like to look of the blues, but is that what I need for growth??? I have joined AI facebook and got thousands of options but just looking for some direction to get some LPDS growth and what is good for the system. Any help would be great.

No reason to be sorry for asking questions. There are lots of people that will give you technical answers, but in my experience, white gives growth. I'm probably about to get all kinds of corrected. Lol

Are you using the ai app to control the hydras?

Go on ai website scroll to bottom click on signature series lighting. Download the schedule you like

Personally I’ve seen better growth with more blue

iPhone makes it look way more blue than in person but it’s still heavy in the blue spectrum

Yes. Add enough white so it doesn’t look like porta potty water

Looking at my schedule and I do drop the blues a bit at 1:00 maybe I am droping it too much and losing my blue look which is discouraging me

You may want to up that to have like 1-2 hours peak then slowly bring it down like the sun naturally does

I have downloaded so many settings and just not sure which to use. My current does have the blues go away at 1ish and now I am thinking why in the world am I using it if I like the blues and the blues go out at 1:00.

The T5 are nice and I cant adjust those, but these hydra 26 lights are killing me to get the look and growth I want
