Hahaha, I've had friends ask me what are the gloves for? I'm allergic to the slime. Sometimes my fingers swell up if I touch the right thing. It sucks.

speaking of, I had a buddy who was moving some zoas/palys around in his tank and he scratched his arm on a jagged piece of LR, well long story short is he had a severe reaction and his arm swelled up very bad and was out of commission for a while, matter of fact he really doesn't do much with his tank ever since that happened, he is totally afraid to stick his hand back in his tank!

Yeah, it can be scary sometimes. I've gotten slime from coral in my eyes. They get really red and my vision has gone blurry for a day before. Plus for me my hands and eyes are my livelihood (I'm a dentist).
