Expanding my test kit

So I'm back into reefing after 10 years away and I'm doing it with a nano until we buy a home.
Just to get me up and running I got the standard API kit of PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. It's what I had available at the time and I know it's faults, but figure I'll use it up.
In order of purchase, what other single kits should I buy?
I can get Salifert kits local or I can order online.
Calicium, phosphates?
I'm not dosing other than the occasional Seed bacteria.
I'm open to dosing as needed too.

If you’re doing regular water changes I would not worry about too much testing. Salfert does make good kits.

I found Salifert Phosphate difficult to read a determination in the low range.
I also have trouble with their Nitrate kit & the reddish colors.
The NYOS Nitrate kit is yellow in color with color sheets & is much better for me.

Depending on how much testing you prefer to do, you may want to consider adding the Red Sea "Reef Foundation" kit (Calcium, Alkalinity, Mag.). It has a nice titration setup that makes good testing easier, and you can buy the refills of reagents separately; costs less in the long run.
For phosphates, the Hanna Checker for "Phosphate Ultra Low Range PPM "HI774" is pretty nice and so much easier than those color matching tests.
