Should I buy a 28 gallon nano tank that's already set up with some coral in it already for 450 or set up a 20 to 30 gallon aquarium that I already have from scratch for possibly less idk

Is the nano tank reef ready meaning its either drilled or a all in one aquarium. If not then I would DIY your tank and drill it. Also I might reccomend that you will outgrow that tank very quickly so you might want to consider bumping it up a nothc to a 40,50 or 75 gallon to give you more room for the future. Just a thought. I would start from scratch due to parasites and stuff being in the used tank that you do not know about.

How old is all the equipment? What kind of equipment and what kind of corals?
