Hey guys,
Thought I would share my experience with this product. As a little background, I started this tank about a month ago after selling my 210. It's a 106g display with a 75g sump. Most all of the rock was brand new dry Marco (about 120lb). I only put in a few purple pieces to seed coralline growth. I have various tangs, clowns, chromis, and gobies. I also have a lot of coral, mostly lps and sps but some softies.
There is a good amount of rock in my fuge which is partitioned in the 75. I am not sure how or when, but I recently discovered a few tiny red planaria on my fuge glass. I looked very closely and saw none in the display. I decided to treat everything right away just in case, and have to say I was surprised by the amount of larger ones that appeared dying. Probably only a dozen noticeably, but still.
I dosed what as recommended plus a small squirt for good measure, and the flatworms started to die almost instantly. Had a dual reactor of carbon standing by as recommended also. The only negative effect I noticed was that some of the small brittle stars seemed annoyed. If this was due to the flatworms toxins, I couldn't imagine the crash with a heavy infestation.
My point for posting this is to suggest that if you see these in an established tank to take extreme caution, as there are probably many more that are not visible. All in all I'm very pleased with the result, and will probably treat again in time just to be sure.
