That was the question I had. Did you need T5 with the Kessil to get the SPS to grow. I have a 24 gal cube that's on about 17" square. ATI shortest bulb is 24". So I put on in addition to the Kessil 160 orbit marine pro to see what will happen. Otherwise I will find a way to put T5 or go back to MH on a nano cube. Lol

I've running two along with (4) T5's on my 90G for almost two years now. The combo works quite well, and the color is spectacular. I've put my old Radium MH up along side and it's difficult to see difference. SPS growth has been a little slower with these lights compared to old MH setup though. I have to say though, if I were to do it over today I would probably buy two AI Hydra 52HD's. Maybe not though. I ran Reefbreeders LEDs for a little over a year before this and changed to this and have been pretty happy.

Love the shimmer with the Kessil A360w-e, runnig 4 with 2 Aquatic Life Ho T5 Hybrid for supplement, running the T5's for 4 hrs mid afternoon and dusk to dawn with LED's from 8am-10pm. Great color and growth in mixed reef.

I ran my Kessils at 100%, with the color to visually match what I saw next to my radium mh. Don’t be afraid to turn them up all the way.

I have 4 360we and 4 t5 on a 90. You were using 2? Would you still run 100%

My Kessils (two A360WEs) are at 70% max intensity (60% color IIRC) and only for four hours a day (they ramp up or down the rest of the day) on a 75g. You have some additional depth to work with so the intensity may be valuable. I'm gradually adding additional time at [my] peak intensity with good results so far (alkalinity consumption has shot up dramatically). T5s are on for eight hours. Dont just go to 100% if you're running something significantly lower now though. Some PAR data here if you haven't already seen it.

I might be overkill with 4 360s and my t5s are 39 watt 3 blue+ 1 actinic?

Mine work great on my mixed reef, all types of corals seem to like them, growth and color is good. No issues.

If they're 48" T5s, they're 54w; 39w would be 36". Either way, it's a strong combo that can produce plenty of PAR (we have six, 48" T5s and four A360s over our 150g but we dont have to run the Kessils near max intensity).

Yes my a T5s are 36" (39w) I made my own hood kessil are spaced every 9" and 7" above water.

I guess I'm just trying to see what intensity people are having best coloration and growth with sps. I haven't found anyone running 4 on a 90gal yet

I run 6 a360s on my 180, with 4 t5’s. My max output on my kessils is 55% right now. I run my t5’s 8 hrs. I am very sloooowly ramping my kessil output as I’m now getting more acros.

Taken with my IPad. kessils at 50%. I am recovering from dinos last year, but there are about 20 little acro frags scattered about.

Kissel are great on Sps I've got a kissel sky blue 150 over my 29 cube got it loaded with Sps frags more than 25 kinds till I get my 60 cube and 75 set up and they are growing very fast and look great only complaint over got is wish got the ocean blue for more blue but know the larger Kissel will do great for you I'm sold on them !

What did you program your kessill too? I’ve got one but scared of getting corals since I’m not sure what settings to use

I think people should answer if they are only using the kessil light by itself not with t5’s because you’re not giving an honest answer. I have 2 kessil a160we on my 36 bow front but I’m upgrading to a 100g. I feel it won’t be enough over the 48” wide tank. And I don’t feel like have 4 or five lights hanging over my tank. I purchased two xr15 gen4 pro’s but I seriously thinking about getting some kessil 360’s love that shimmer! But don’t want t5’s.
