Experience with a T5/LED Hybrid?

Going to get a new light fixture. I keep a mix of LPS and SPS and I'm heavily leaning toward a T5/LED Hybrid fixture. Really like the look of the Giesemann fixture and wondering if anyone out there has gotten it and what their thoughts are? Also wanting to know what other Hybrid fixtures people have gotten and their thoughts.

Aquatic Life just came out with a new T5/hybrid fixture that will incorporate several popular LED fixtures, Radions, Kessils, Hydras, etc.... This opens up the doors quite a bit and gives you a lot of options. I don't think they were that expensive either? Marine Depot has a video about them from MACNA.

I'm going the same route and have been trying to decide between a more DIY route or an all in one fixture. Just so many options out right now. Right now I'm leaning toward the reefbrite.

I did a current orbit marine and a Four tube t5 retro kit. Results were phenomenal.

What t5 retro kit did you use? I have a 6 foot tank and would like to add four 36 inch or maybe four 24 inch t5 bulbs to it. Not sure if I could fit two 36 inch bulbs end to end over it.

It's the BRS kit I believe.
Yea the 24 should be fine. You'll have three 8in gaps.

When I installed mine I used the LET Miro-4 retrofit kit. You should be able to fit two 36" kits end to end in a 6' tank. I installed two 48" kits end to end on an 8' tank with no problems.
The finished length of the 36" retro kit is 35.1"

I put two 36" SunBlaster T5 fixture with Blue+ bulbs over my reefer 250 with two Kessil 160's in the middle. Not the best image, I am happy with them for the price.

I've got the Aurora on my 66g tank. Love the light...just not the price. I'm going to be starting a new build around the end of Oct, 5ft tank, and planning to use the new Aquatic Life Hybrid fixture. I've got two XR15's that will go into it. I'd love to put an Aurora over it but not with the price of a larger fixture.
