Experience with algae scrubbers

@Paul B out here schoolin' people. lol. REALLY cool stuff, thanks for sharing this Paul. Gives me lots to dig into.

So - using this info as a basis, we could say that scrubbers MAY be aiding in bacterial health and adding "beneficial chemicals" to the display. We still cannot (well I can't) answer the pros/cons/benefits of these interactions - but we think "It's good". I'm still really trying to justify/like this scrubber. lol. I know people think I'm just crapping all over them, but I'm not. If anything I'm a lil' peeved about the marketing pitch and that it's pretty undefined as to what they are doing in systems, beyond "keeping algae".
 
It really doesn't matter because if you don't have a scrubber, that algae that wants to grow, will just grow in your tank. The algae doesn't care what you think. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
