Experience with Vanderbilt Chromis?

I guess the best shot at finding an Anthias that can live for 10+ years on a regular basis if given good enough care would be the larger and / or more solitary species like the deepwater Odoanthias genus, maybe the Stocky as well. I was looking into a Borbonius but heard they can be hard to adjust and may need live food so gave up. But yeah I’ve never heard of an Anthias living 10 or more years personally, whereas I’ve heard plenty of people who’ve kept Clowns, Tangs, Angels, PJ Cardinals, some damsels and gobies etc. for a decade or more.

You have a 15-year old Chocolate Tang? What does it look like and how big is it / how big was it when you got it? How long did it take to grow out of its Lemonpeel Mimic phase? Do you find it to be an ich magnet?

Would love to see your tank.

Unfortunately I don't think that would work. I found they are very shy and I feel the addition of new (robust) fish will stress them. I think unless you have a species tank or one with maybe small quiet fish these are better avoided.
Thanks for the input. My stocking list suggests an active tank so I'll give them a miss and stick to my Chrysiptera group idea.
