We're all creatures of habit and don't like change to one degree or another. I tend to force myself to try new things, but often end up going back to what I like and what I know works.

My recent one is just a simple little fish... I've never liked cardinal fish much, Bangaii are ok, but in general they weren't very interesting and were kind of timid, boring and ugly. I picked up a lone orange lined cardinal a few months on a whim and just wanting to add a small fish I've never kept before. Such a great little fish! Cruises all over the tank, adds some nice flashes of color, and doesn't take any flack from his bigger grumpier tank mates. The little fella just makes me happy when I look at him.

Another... A long time ago, after never quite loving any DE MH bulbs I bought some new pendants and tried the radium for the first time. I was in love and immediately kicking myself for not having tried them long before.

Share what you've got! That fish that you ended up loving but never liked enough to buy before. That piece if equipment that you always wrote off as unnecessary and now don't know how you could ever live without it. Maybe it will be inspiration enough to others that read it to take the leap and get something they will love.

I didn't know how I felt about Ocellaris Clownfish, because in the past I have only owned Perculas. Anyways, after doing a bunch of research I decided to get an Ocellaris and I love that little fellow now. :)

I've tried liking cardinalfish, but I just can't get over how much they look like freshwater tetras or how they seem to just stare off into space. :p

My bangaii is like the ref of my tank. Anytime any fish goes after another she swims right over and breaks it's up. When I first got my radiant wrasse my black cap would not let him get close to the sand to go to sleep. The bangaii would keep the basslet in his caves and block the exit until the wrasse was in the sand. She also keeps my clowns from biting my hand anytime it enters the water. Craziest sight.
