My name is Vlad. I live in Kharkov, Ukraine

Let me represent you my marine aquarium (MA) and explain it’s maintenance.
My Marine Aquarium (MA) starting from 27.01.2011





My MA system contents:

Heater 2 pcs 100w
Pump flow Boyu WM- 2 + SunSun JVP-101
Light 150W mg + 7pcs. blue LEDs cre + 2 pcs. T5 24W actinic



My MA Maintanance:
Once per day – manually adding water (you could combine it with feeding for time saving). I haven’t seen good auto water top up device yet.



Topping up my MA with tap water (settled for one day).
The idea of "topping up method" instead of “replacement” is that the drinking water from the tap (if tap water is not suitable then you can use spring water) you add everything what’s needed in your MA.

No (except dinoflagelates - who always live in my aquariums in small quantities)

Can you please describe your setup - very interesting with planktons? Do you have any fishes in the system?

Planktons lives constantly in my aquariums.
Plankton does not contribute to the aquarium from outside.

Green film on video - is a film collected on the surface of water.
Zooplankton - lives under rocks in zones without flow

The light is on 16 hours (if I'm not mistaken)

The experiment continues (more than 7 years)..
He did not change the water and did not add any chemicals.

Acropora fell on lobophilia and did not survive.
