Expert Advice?

I'm sure. I left the cleaner shrimp in the tank and my corals look amazing (especially the frags I picked up at the swap;)) I'm even growing a couple of frog spawn for my friend. My thought on the uv was to allow the good stuff to repopulate yet still killing the ich. I ran it 24 hours during the first week.

Sounds like you're doing well...just need a dose of patience. ya know? hah hah. I really think that all those treatments are 50/50. Like...how much of the time do they actually help the fish versus decrease their immune systems and make them more susceptible to the next round of ich.

Oh! One more thing...do you have a rid-volt or other brand voltage reducer in your tank? I'm not sure if the verdict is completely IN that they help tangs not get ich but I do know that they are supposed to help ward off HLLE. Also, I think they dramatically reduce the stress to animals with a sensitive lateral line. I think they're under $10...so why not use it...even if it's like throwing salt over your shoulder.

Were can I get one? I'll try anything at least once. I just want a healthy system.

Just be careful with ozone. You can wreck a tank with it...as with a calcium reactor (but truth be told, I love a calcium reactor). The trick is to monitor it closely.

FYI those systems are pretty expensive.
