Expierence with Aquatic Life T5 x4 light ?

Hi all. I recently purchased the 4 bulb Aquatic Life T5 fixture (2 white,blue,actinic) I have a 54 gallon aquarium less than 24 inches deep. I'm currently using the Fluval Marine and Reef LED light. I know its not strong enough by itself, but its what came with the tank set up. Id like to get a new light or supplement it , which is why I bought the Aquatic Life. The guy at the store said it would work for me but I'm not sure its enough light. Anyone have experience with this light or know if I would need more? Each bulb is only 39 watts, so if I went by that rule of thumb Id be pretty short at 6 watts per gallon. BTW I have soft and LPS corals but would like an anemone someday.) Thanks in advance!

4x T5s is enough light for softies and LPS. Do not sweat this.

BTAs do not need a lot of light. There are 'nems that will do fine under 4x T5s... and some that will not, so choose well and you should be OK.

4 bulbs of T5 is plenty for what you are keeping (and most anemones). Use some quality T5 bulbs, though (ATI and Giesmann are your most popular). And I'd ignore wattage in regards to determining light output, as that is measure of power versus light output. Wattage rules of thumb were geared towards power compact lighting that was prevalent years ago.
