Expired Fluval Sea Iodine

Hello all,
I've recently purchased some Fluval Sea Iodine from Chewy. Bottle arrived expired as of July 2018. I called Chewy and they immediately sent out another bottle, which arrived yesterday. And is also expired as of July 2018. Are these still useable? The products in the bottle are Calcium Iodate and Potassium Iodide.

Didn't know sealed iodine could expire.

I don't want to use them if it's not safe. I think I'm going to call chewy and try again for a non expired bottle.
