Good afternoon,

I finally was able to test my reef tank par readings currently running 2 radion g6 X-15 pros with the AB+ program at 100% power I'm pretty happy with the par to the sand bed being almost 200par my question is for my SPS being at the 250 par range would a longer exposure time be an adequate supplement for the lower par reading? currently i run my lights f0r almost 12 hours total including the pre programmed ramp up and down period.

250 is fine for SPS. Blue light is misleading as its stronger in photosynthesis where as a light with less blue at the same par can be far weaker for photosynthesis in comparison. So when a light has lots of blue, I tend to say that the par value reads under what its actual "performance" is just to help better predict how the coral will respond (out of caution)

Keep in mind as they grow, they will receive higher and higher intensities from growing closer to the light.

My tank range is 140 to 310. You should be a-ok

There is a dli calculator, you should be around 15 if I remember
