I have a 75 gallon tank with a exquisite wrasse. I wanted to know if anyones kept another wrasse in a tank this size? Theres all kinds of mixed reviews online. If I cant do it then I wont, but I was thinking of adding a flasher wrasse specifically a dot and dash. and a solar wrasse like the velvet. I was hoping since they weren't all fairy wrasse and they were all peaceful that Id have better luck. but I love my exquisite and don't want to add any other wrasse if they are just going to fight! So does anyone have an exquisite coexisting with another wrasse?

It should work just fine. I have seen many tanks with a nice wrasse mix. Use a social acclimation box and there should be no issues.

That should still work. C. labouti can be a little more aggressive, but nothing too serious.

I don't want any aggression. What good wrasse mix do you think would be good with my exquisite? is it going to be a problem that I added it first? and they will be a month apart?

I currently have 4 wrasses in my 75 yellow coris,Labouti,Carpenter's and a longfin the use of a acclimation box I would highly recommend it really makes a difference as for fish google some wrasses and read other peoples experience with each fish tank size, what fish they are kept with etc

Im not necessarily after just a fairy wrasse Ive read that forum and didn't like any of the green ones I could match with mine. I would consider a flasher wrasse or other but from reading forums (r days now) ve read the exquisite tends to go after bassletts and long fins. I wanted to add another wrasse but I don't think it would be a good idea. I wanted to find someone who had an exquisite first and added another to a 75 but not for the life in me can I find that :(

I have 2pink margins an exquisite and a labouts all together .. also had solarensis but he died about amonth ago not due to aggression

as long as the next fish added isn't known to be aggressive it should be fine that's the fun of the hobby lol trying stuff

Ok so I thought about it. and Im thinking of adding a carpenters flasher and a malanurus with my exquisite. the carpenters will be next, the malanurus will be last. what do you think about the 3? any potential problems?
Thanks!

Thanks! Ive rd a few things about the malanurus being aggressive towards fairys but ive also seen a lot of people have success-I hope im one of those lol

So I tried it/ Worse mistake EVER!!!!!

I know everybody has different experiences but me having 2 wrasse in 1 tank has went from bad to worse! Everyone told me I could add a flasher wrasse with my fairy wrasse but that was not the case! I put a carpenters in there and its been WW3 every since! My exquisite wrasse is really trying to kill the poor thing I did an acclimation box, lights out overnight-everything! it has stressed my exquisite wrasse out so bad that hes broken out in ich over night, this is just a VERY bad situation! I would NEVER recommend anyone mixing these 2 wrasses together based on my experience because now Ive gotta fish out a carpenters and I may loose my exquisite :( :( :(
