All my fish are done with 30 days copper qt and looking good . I still have another 3 weeks to go on fallow tank. I changed out about half the water and haven’t tested but copper is probably sitting around 1. Is there any reason I need to worry about getting copper down to zero or is leaving them in a little longer at a low dose ok?

You can change water and take an extra step and treat with prazi pro which will be another 17 days

Assuming you are using coppersafe or copper power, 1 ppm is fine for an extended period.

As @vetteguy53081 said, you could take this time to run a prazi treatment if you think there is any chance that the fish could have flukes.
