Extending a Tunze 3155 Osmolator

Have any of you been successful at extending the length of a Tunze auto top off pump?

The 2 wires would be easy to splice and extend but was wondering about extending the tubing on the pump itself.

I plan on putting my ATO reservoir in a remote location to free up space so I can fit a larger sump under my display.

I have mine 35 feet away. Mine goes from my 200 gallon rodi tank into the fish room. I just turned the knob up all the way and used a larger tube ment for the Apex DOS and I have no issues and it still pumps pretty fast.
