Extension cord AWG thickness for a chiller?

What AWG size extension cord should I get for a JBJ 1/10 Arctica chiller? I need about a 6 to 8 foot extension cord for my chiller to reach my EB832 in my control cabinet. Just want to make sure I get the appropriate wire gauge for this application. Thanks!

Internal house wiring is 12 gauge for 20 amp circuits; 14 gauge for 15 amp circuits. Probably the gauge on the chiller cord would provide some guidance; 14 seems right though.
