Extension Tube Recommendations

I am in the market for extension tubes. This is for an older Nikon DSLR, the d800. Recommendations are needed, even if you had a bad experience I would love to know what to buy and what not to buy.
 
I used these when I had my D750. Will still allow autofocus.

If cost is not an issue, the Kenko's would be the way to go.

I also use the meike tubes and I am very satisfied with them. Despite being plastic they feel sturdy. Even if you don't use autofocus, the fact that they fully support all lens related EXIF data is a huge plus. The autofocus itself is fairly useless when using the extension tubes for macro work, but being able to digitally control the focus does make focus stacking much easier
