HI Guys

First time doing a filter clean this weekend - nervous as hell
I've an external GreenLine e1502 in a 180L Tank.

Will be replacing the Carbon and the Rowa Phos Phosphate Remover - getting more an more nervous as I type :)

Should I clean the filter etc same time as weekly water change or best to do them days apart ??

Cheers
Dave

It's probably a good idea to clean your filter every week at the same time as your water changes. Carbon and phosphate remover can be left in for roughly a month.

Don't sweat it - after the first few times you'll be a pro. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Do when you do your water change. Use tank water to clean your filters so you do not kill off beneficial bacteria.
