External pump Plumbing Help…

So I have 2 external pumps plumbed to my sump already with 1” pvc to each of them. I’m needing to add a 3rd pump. Do you think it would be fine to have 2 pumps both running off the same 1” pvc bulkhead? I’m really not want to drain my sump to drill a 3rd hole.

I’m needing another pump to run to a separate tank. Currently my one pump is running to my main tank. Then I have a Vecrta L2 running all my manifolds, and it’s at its limit already. Can’t go bigger on this pump, as it’s already the biggest without spending 4,000 bucks in one.

So I’m thinking of extending the pvc out from the Vectra and splitting teeing it off to 2 pumps.
From what I’ve read a 1” pvc can handle 2000+GPH. With head pressure the Vectra is pumping about 900. So I’d think the pipe could handle the capacity???

The short answer is yes, but it depends on the desired float rate and you do need to allow for issues with two pumps connected to a single pipe.
