I have a MRC Orca Pro II skimmer with a reeflo feed pump.
The feed pump is extremely hot to touch. Is this normal?

Those fins are designed to radiate heat. The pump is supposed to run "cool" according to the internet.

I would probably shut it off and talk with the manufacturer about your pumps running temperature. If it's expected to be hot to touch then I would turn it back on. If not, I would replace it. I'm not afraid of burning down the house I just don't want to deal with the noise of sirens and smoke alarms. :)
