What does everyone do with there Chaeto when it comes time to trim it up? Could I put it in my display tank for my tang to eat? Or is this a bad idea? And do u just cut it with scissors? Just cut out what u don't want?

Whatever you do, don't cut with scissors, just pull apart with your hands. If you cut it, you will have lots of little pieces that float around and are annoying.
I typically just throw out the extra, or offer it up to local reefers that may be looking for some.

Ok thanks! All I have is a 1 gallon hob fuge that I put a small ball of Chaeto in about 2 months ago. It's now grown all the way across and top to bottom in there. Should I just leave it all in there? Getting kinda full in it.
trim it shake it out. get the bug poo off it.
